Downtown Dade City Family Session

This one is a little late to the blog but I had an incredible time meeting up with the Marini family during their family session in downtown Dade City! Since they’re our neighbors, it was easy to get in touch through our neighborhood Facebook page (social media FTW!). We’ve gotten to know each other better over time because our kids are around the same ages, and we often run into each other at the community park. So when they wanted to do a family session, I was excited to help capture these moments for them.

Drew and Lindsey are wonderful parents to their two little boys, and let me tell you, those boys were absolute champs during the session! They brought so much energy and fun to the shoot, and it was clear how much they love being together as a family. Downtown Dade City, Florida provided such a charming backdrop for the photos, with its quaint streets and cozy atmosphere. It really added a special touch to the session and helped create some beautiful, timeless images.

One of the things I love most about doing family sessions in downtown Dade City, Florida is the variety of spots we can use. From the historic buildings to the lush greenery, there’s always something that makes the photos unique and memorable. The Marini family’s session was no exception — we found some great little nooks and corners that perfectly captured their family’s personality.

Now, I have to say, there’s something really wonderful about making it a priority to take annual family photos. Kids grow up so fast, and each year brings new milestones, new smiles, and new memories. When you look back on these photos years from now, you’ll be reminded of all those little details that might have otherwise faded with time. The Marini family will cherish these photos as their boys grow older, and one day, those boys will look back on these moments when they have kids of their own.
