Cypress Point Park Family Session

I loved getting to meet up with Vincent + Elizabeth, and their adorable daughters for some family portraits!

Cypress Point Park is a small beach located near downtown, right by the Tampa International Airport. It is an incredibly popular spot for local photographers and I’m sure you can see why! It’s not only beautiful, close to downtown, but it has free parking and a playground for the kids to enjoy after your photo session! It's definitely a fun spot if you ever want to enjoy some beach time and let your kids yell in excitement whenever a plane takes off!

Their newest addition was just a month old and she absolutely rocked her first photo session, sleeping through most of the fun! Her one-and-a-half-year-old big sister was a ball of energy. She couldn't get enough of the fun beach and literally kept trying to run into the water!

Photo sessions with little ones always reminds me how fast life moves. It feels like one minute your little ones are toddling around in diapers, and the next, they're off to college! With two little kids of my own I totally get how crazy life can get. Taking the time to take regular family photos is so worth it though.

I promise you, you'll be thanking your past self when you're looking through those albums in 20 years, getting to see your family grow together.

It might seem like a lot to coordinate outfits and corral everyone for a family photo session, but the memories you capture are absolutely priceless. I like to think of it as a fun family tradition. Picking a time of year that works for everyone, possibly around a birthday or during your favorite season, and making it an annual thing.

You'll never regret having too many family photos, but you might kick yourself for not taking enough.
